No one hired for &quot;Entry level java developer&quot;, so the more senior positions are right fucked for talent.  (I moved to DC because I couldn&#039;t find entry level work.)  Dunno.  There might be a grand total of twenty people too few, but for the 500 of us doing this work full-time... I&#039;m boggled by how easy it is to find work, if you&#039;re willing to work hard to get it.</description>

		<description>Having the name of you current employer on your list of credentials is also--I&#039;m sure--a huge part of it (they only hire the best, right?).

Not that you weren&#039;t the best before, but proving that to someone who doesn&#039;t know you from dirt is hard :)</description>
